We continue to work in a safe environment, and with the commitment and co-operation of our team, we are practicing all government guidance in relation to social distancing, as well as insisting on heighted hygiene. Our premises in Arbroath remains open, yet we are operating on site with a substantially reduced daily headcount as a result of the successful roll out of home working. We are working around the clock to ensure that as many of our employees can work from home as possible, and have prioritised all high-risk personnel as part of this process. While it is our duty to continue to carry out our services during this current crisis, the health and safety of our staff and our customers will always be our number one priority.

On 25 March we received a letter from the London Mayoral Office confirming that we have been identified as a key worker, among “those who will keep the air, water, road and rail passenger and freight transport modes operating during the Covid-19 response including those in supply chains”.

At Journeycall, we are deeply concerned about the challenge facing all of us due to COVID 19, but are proud to fall under the essential workers category, as we continue to deliver crucial services for the majority of the UK’s train operators.
